I have access to many resources such as poems, readings, and sample vows, as well as a basic knowledge of rituals from many cultures and faiths that can enrich your ceremony. I can thus create blended ceremonies for couples with different faiths or cultural backgrounds. For couples who do not belong to any particular church, a ceremony with overtones of universal spirituality may be suitable. I also write and officiate at wholly secular ceremonies for those who prefer this.
Because Connecticut law makes same-sex marriages legal, it is my distinct pleasure to officiate at gay and lesbian weddings, for out-of-state couples as well as for Connecticut residents.
Before I became a celebrant, I worked as a professional writer and editor. In leisure time, I enjoy reading, writing poetry, and hiking and wondering at nature. My spiritual path has led me to an interest in world religions and metaphysics. Canadian philosopher Kenneth G. Mills mentored me for many years.
Celebrancy has brought me the welcome opportunity to come to know many beautiful people and their stories. Won't you be among them?
